Brazilton KS
We had a 9600 which reset to 888 engine and 651 separator hours every time you shut it down. It sort of became a game to see how high we could get it to read. We eventually put an hourmeter on for service purposes. I have absolutely no idea how many hours it had when we sold it. I have no idea how many hours our 4010 has, either...there were six thousand some on the original tach, and went through three or four of the John Deere 100 hour special tachs before we gave up on that, and that was many years ago. 4630 wasn't working when we got it, new tach when we were working on it. No idea of total hours, but the hours on the tach are about what it has on it's refurbishment and reman engine. I'm sure we have a few other machines which are off a little due to not working at some time or another. Never really lost much sleep over it. I'm a lot more interested in condition then in the number on the tach.
