Let me first state that our situation is most likely very different from yours, and I am ONLY stating what works on my operation, not yours.
We did a quick analysis of what is was costing us, and although we are having to service and maintain a water truck, sprayer, and water trailer, we found that spraying ourselves was the best option. Even with these increased costs, the impact of the bottom line was a postive one. The decision to spray our own crops is one that we have not regretted.
