Yes part time help will have trouble 1st off. I can shift with out a problem half asleep lol. AS for the front end I disagree totally. They are very simple only 4 gears a side! Have you ever had a part a MFD axel with planetarys?? Know what it costs to rebuilt on of them?? What kills the front ends is ....... no oil in them when the o rings go out!! It takes out the top angle gears. So it means people have to check the oil level now an then as the top can leak down into the bottom gear box with out having any visable leaks etc. Also the backlash has to be set correctly on them and checked every few thousand hrs.

Hey my belarus runs just fine and does whats asked of it. I could have spent 6x what I paid for it for a JD or CIH ..... what for though?? Is it a field tractor I'd want to put 500hrs a year on hell no!! But as an odd ball job tractor around the yard, bust'n through the bush clearing trees, running an auger etc. its seem to work fine so far.
