Western Iowa
This happened to me last year. I suspect that I didn't have enough downpressure on my closing wheels and left air pockets in the trench. I got it drilled into my head all winter long "use the least amount of downpressure possible to close the trench. From the surface it looked good but the pockets were there. This year I used plenty of pressure and have the stand I was hoping for. Here is my thread from last year when I was worrying about it. This may not be your case but it was mine. http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=101010&posts=1...
