S. MN | Find out who your local representative is in your state legislature. Give his/her office a call and explain the problem to them. They may be able to get things rolling a little faster. I recently had an issue with a county agency, and seemed to be spinning my wheels talking to the locals. They didn't seem to care if any thing ever got done about it. I emailed my rep, who contacted someone at the state level, who then called the local agency and suddenly it felt like I was their top priority. Sometimes the people at the local level need a little push from someone higher on the food chain. | |
