have 2 4955's, 1-9000 hrs, never touched the tranny or motor, other than a head gasket, second one has 7500 hrs, neve rbeen touched. first one runs grain cart (Kinze 1050) 5 shank ripper, disk, front blade, so far so good, IMHO one of the best, granted 8000 series do have a better cab, but both 49's willbe around for a long time.
