Crawfordsville, Arkansas | My neighbor quit farming a few years ago but got the urge to get back into it so he went and bought him a combine and tractor/grain cart to keep himself busy. Had a clean 8400 that he ran for a few years but said that it was too "nice" of a tractor and was too expensive so he sold it and bought a 4960. $16,000 for a transmission last fall ate up all his profit that he made by selling the 8400.. He wasn't too happy. I sorta giggled and said I told you so.
4960 is a really good riding and driving tractor. Too bad the good points stop there. Oh, mine sounded good with the muffler eliminator on it too.
