So, Po, when did you start your plants, and how far along are they?

My impression regarding spindly plants:

a) they are not getting enough sunlight

b) air temp is too warm and they are growing too fast

A local commercial vegetable grower once told me to take your hand and brush it across the tops of the tomato plants daily.  this is to simulate the effects of a wind/breeze.

Me?  I started putting my plants outside - on my back porch - this past weekend.  Unless it gets really cold again, I hope I can keep them outside until they are ready to plant in the garden.
