| No more contracts around here right now either. I dived in last fall and going to average around $3.75 (irrigated), which ain't nearly as fun as last year or the year before. I think early early last fall there may have been some offers at $10 per hundred weight (which is about 4.80 per bushel I believe), or perhaps your buddy came up with $10 canadian per hwt (after exchange?), but I don't even know how our dollars are exchanging, so who knows.
I notice in the malt barley world its quite common to 'brag' up your price so it sounds better than the other guys, I got suckered on that very thing between bud and coors a couple years ago, but it was that bushels and hundred weight thing again. | |
