Up here in north central Montana, nobody around is contracting for malt anymore except Columbia Grain. Just locked in 40,000 bu for $7.30 hwt. Also have a 40,000 bu for Coors at $8.80 hwt. Last year the contract for Coors for us was $13.50 and they paid $9.50 for the overage which we had lots of. Now its back to reality.
Malt barley prices???
