Saronville NE | 30s here, wouldnt go to 36, very little 36s left, except for alot of 6r36 guys, but most of the guys that left 36 went to 12r30 and 16r30. Faster canopy for covering weeds, narrower equipment is easier to get around with on cornheads and such without taking off the heads moving fields all the time, beans seem to yield better in narrower rows, but know guys with 36s gettin good yields also. I think on notill and pivots and dryland for the canopy issue is beter, but for gravity irrigation 36s are still nice, but thats the reason most guys have left 36s here, very little gravity left around and more and more notill and striptill around all the time. | |
