East central Iowa | We still are on 38" and considered going to 30. But came across a very cheap planter in excellent shape so didn't switch. Yeilds have been just as good as anyone elses on 30 so guess I'll stay for a while longer. We still plant beans on 38 and last year averaged 69 bushel so i guess we are not missing out on much. Not enough acres to warrent the cost of 30" equipt. yet but who knows. Find more acres and I'm sure the switch will happen soon. | |
