Brazilton KS | I've never heard of anyone calculating their yield on a volume basis. If it made 164 bushels, then it made 164*56 lbs. If the test weight is light, there will be more volume. You, or at least every farmer and elevator I know, is still going to measure the quantity with a scale that weighs lbs and then convert it to bushels at the standard 56 lbs per bushel. I would like to hear some logical explanation of why you think my bins are not going to contain the same lbs of corn as what I put in them, less the moisture I removed from the part which was over moisture, of course. |
