| I think it comes down to demand in the market. If a majority of new planter buyers were demanding to have the functionality and were willing to pay the extra money for it, you can bet JD (and others) would be working on it. Or, if another manufacturer were offering that capability and JD was losing sales, it would also likely change their view. Developing and integrating the stuff 20/20 has done takes time, money, and resources. I'm sure JD has done market research on it and concluded that it doesn't make business sense right now to try to match 20/20's capabilities. | |
