The $5600 includes more than a monitor, cable and software. It also includes 3 sets of weigh pins and boxes that have accelerometers in them. I sincerely doubt that you would be able to get all the stuff that the 20/20 provides for a $1000 unlock code even if Deere did have it available. However, I could imagine it being significantly cheaper than what the 20/20 is just because they might possibly be able to utilize the same monitor.

Like I said in the other post though, there is a lot of information that is displayed by the 20/20. It may be advantageous to have it on the 20/20 so that you don't have information overload with the 2600 doing intensive planter monitoring as well as the other functions that it would normally do. I don't know how much the 2600 would be doing if it were not acting as a planter monitor though (I've never used it, I've just read about it some), so if it doesn't do much, maybe it would not be an issue.
