Rolla, ND | I agree, if you are putting the fertilizer in the ground, there is no advantage to using agrotain. It's to inhibite urease so you don't lose urea to volatilization into the air from surface applications.
If your crop is running out spend the $6 to $8 on more nitrogen, not the agrotain.
It may be possible that your neighbor is doing something differently from you that results in him getting more N from his ground. If you are both putting the same number of lbs of N as fertilizer into the ground at the same time, dry or liquid really is an insignificant factor. | |
