Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | First find out how much compaction you have. Get a electric fence post, or an actual compaction indicator rod with a handle on the end and try shoving it in the ground. If it goes in with little effort, you probably don't need any tillage
. You could always split the field and compare each side no-till v tillage. Then you could report back to us in the fall. You would be surprised how much manure will work into the soil with a little rain. Should be able to raise some A1 beans with all that litter. Good Luck.
