southern ontario
we clean and grow a few million tomato seeds every year , we remove the seed from the tomato with a pulper rinse seed very good then soak in about 15% miratic acid and water mixture for about an hour ,stir often then rinse with water and lay it on cardboard paper , put a fan to blow air over seed gently and mix seed occationaly so seed dont stick together , then in a couple of days we put it in a freezer till spring and have about 99.5 % germ, there are other ways like the other poster said to let squashed tomatoes forment or use clorine to kill desease in seed.If you have any question email me and i will get you whatever info you need
