Colby, Kansas | What I meant by the comment was that what EC is correlated to changes from location to location. It is certainly not foo-foo dust, there is value in it but it requires some time and effort to reach a useful interpretation. Joel's post does a good job of covering that. EC is valuable because its a spatially dense dataset, relatively cheap to obtain, and can generally be related to something of interest that you can incorporate in your management.
