What 95h says about the same number of strokes per side is real important to keep a saw from cutting in a circle. Only one side may be dull due to dirt or wire but you need to file BOTH sides. Keep the teeth equal lengths on both sides.. Like others have stated a few strokes often really make for good cutting. Take your file with you and cut a slot in a stump to steady the bar and touch up occasionally.
