I feel that I have gotten to the point that I do a pretty good job with the file.
Not having ever tried one of the grinders but I read on here one time that you can screw up a chain real quick with one if you don't know how to use one.
If mine get to messed up then I drop them to someone who know there stuff but the file has worked for me real well since I have practiced with one.
Also when the file doesn't cut pitch it and use a new one.........they are not expensive.........and wearing gloves will save your fingers.
A sharp chain makes a happy saw operator. | |
