The CaseIH "boys" didn't lose their brand identity. Their dealers aren't being bullied. Their yard full of orange and silver machinery didn't just lose a whole bunch of resale value. Besides that, I never ever wished to own a Massey anything. For somebody to come along and tell me that MF is my only choice if I want to continue my relationships with my current dealer ticks me off to no end. Fortunately, my dealer has other brands to choose from. It is a real shame now, too, with such a great tractor series being offered. The DT series doesn't have to take a back seat to anyone.

AGCO really did stand for Allis Gleaner COmpany. They had it on decals and advertising when the company was first formed from the Deutz wreckage.
