AGCO is a completely American company, has been since its inception and remains to this day. It is publicly traded and therefore has shareholders around the world. But some of these guys who are overreacting need a scapegoat and Richenhagen is their target because he's taking action that was destined to come many years ago (dropping the orange tractor and consolidating brands into more focused marketing efforts). The nationality of Richenhagen (German) has them upset for some reason too. You sure don't hear the CIH boys screaming about being owned by Fiat like this, being headed by Mr. Macaroni (or what's his name... I think Marconi). And Fiat isn't too far removed from the Italian mafia and the company has just taken on the debt-laden Chrysler orphan. You want to talk about someone who should be concerned. AGCO is a severely misunderstood company.
