I don't think Foley ever intended to keep the ag stores open.  Can't say that for certain, but it is sure what it looks like when they buy them and close them 15 days later because they were unable to push the company around.  It's interesting to note that they had already lost their Claas dealership prior to purchasing Martin. 

One thing is for certain, Foley never had any location which was half the ag dealer that Martin had at Chanute or Topeka.
