Oliver1 - 2/6/2010 16:16 The last "true" Whites were in 92. After that they had an Allis tranny IIRC. Whatever it was, they dropped the bathtub engine frame and 6 x 3 tranny. And the world has been going downhill since :)

For several years in the mid 90's, they used an 18 speed version of the Funk transmission that New Holland and Cat used. The 18 speed was a 40k/25mph transmission, but had a unique shift from 9 to 10 and back. The shift down would almost kill the engine.
