central alberta | I agree with VGL 1, people drive way to fast and just aren't paying attention when driving. We were driving our combines, in broad daylight, down the highway, all flashers working. I was the 2nd combine, and I watched some moron pull out in front of the 1st combine, luckily the combine operator was alert and swerved to miss the car, otherwise it would have been game over for somebody. When I'm driving machinery down the highway, I would say the good majority of people pass me doing at least 60MPH. What ever happened to common sense?? Out the window with newer, faster vehicles...We farmers must do our part and have the correct lighting etc.. but alot the problems come from the people in passenger
vehicles. Real sad about the child....God bless their family and the farmer's....Tough day's ahead... | |
