Sorry, but frankly you are full of it.  You were doing okay for a while, but then you drifted off into talking about stuff which you apparently don't know about.

 

I guess I'm officially middle aged now.  Farmed 100% rented land my entire career, and contrary to your claims, my net worth statement shows that I have built wealth probably about as well as most my age from my area, regardless of occupation.  I'm sure a few have done much better, but I am also sure I have done quite a little better then some.   If I buried all my capital in land, it would have been years before I could have even put together enough to make a living on.   We're happy, too....well, right now the 4 y/o is upset because mommy won't let her "dress up" but generally speaking.....just filled up with chicken dinners and visited for about two hours with new friends from agtalk.  Life is good as far as we're concerned.
