IL
The furnace is just over a year old, all the burners are burning (I have watched it ignite several times trying to spot a problem), it does get fresh air from in the house and forces the exhaust outside through a 2" pvc. I have thought about wrapping some insulation around the upright ductwork as it seems that is the noisiest spot. The duct goes up from the unit and t's, maybe that is what is making the noise? The burners are the loudest when they ignite and are burning before the fan kicks on and you can really hear them. I have had other people say that this is just a big unit and that it move alot of air? I have lived with it this long I guess I'll just turn the tv up. Also, the flam is burning in the burner's not in the orifice, I did notice that. It really sounds like the gas is burning freely inside the unit before the power vent gets a draw going but you can feel it sucking air?
