| is it might not be any better than what you have now. I bought a MF 2775 for $5K and soon after I bought it had to put $5K into the rear end. Been a good tractor since.
What about investing that $5-7K fixing your 1486? Then you would know what you have instead of buying a cheaper older replacement with unknown potential problems.
If I were looking for 130hp+ likely a bit higher than your price range with a decent cab I'd probably look for a Ford 9700 or a White 2-135/2-155. | |
