Subject: Chisel Plows

Central Illinois
Instead of purchasing a disk, has anyone ever used Deere 2410 or equivalent in corn/soy rotation farming. I wonder how it would do with soybeans stubble or cornstalks going to beans. I seems to be a better soil management tool than a disk (which have some major drawbacks). These chisel plows seem to be used more out in wheat and small grain areas. I was wondering if these tools could be utilized in the corn belt? They seem less expensive for equivalent widths compared to disk.

Thanks and stay warm
