SL - isn't your "light minimum rotational tillage" exactly what is pictured in my strip till pictures above?? It's generally 4-5" deep and rotates back and forth most years or better yet rotates at an angle. And you can raise or lower the Trashwheels to incorporate or clear residue as you wish... Sure Jim, We are are the same Page in that respect !!! BUT I Do Not find that we can cut rates of applied Nutrients Just because you Band apply Indefinitely! Broadcasting some, or all Nutrients, According to Yield , soil and tissue monitoring, creates a better overall Soil zone feeding for the Total Desired Root zone. The combination of the Two can greatly Improve the continuous High Production year in and year Out of said combination of systems.

In NO Way can you sell ANY Tillage, NO Till System that you claim give's you some better yields with out Increasing the Maintenance and or Build Up of Nutrients AS Needed !!!

Depending on the soil Type and Fertility history of the Farm ??? Some could go 10,20, 30 or more years with reduced applications !!!

BUT Some Time ? Some ONE Will have to Re Fill the Soils Account !!! And NOT Be happy about IT !!! OR BE BROKE
