SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | I don't think you can continuosly use less fertilizer and maintain P and k levels for respectable yeild levels. My yield maps converged with my grid samples prove that. Show me proof were long term 2/3ds rate will get the job done.
Ridge tillers found that out years ago when there corn started turning purple.
If you cut the fert rates on corn and then come back with beans you will be disapointed with yields.
Keeping my P and K levels at least in the medium range will improve yields and profits vs sucking the soil dry and watching yields go down.
With broadcast fert one can spread to grids, does banding eqiupment have that same capability?? Feeding the low test areas more and the high less. | |
