Ron, Your asking a tough question!! LOL

I think it would be very hard to pinpoint that number. All I can tell you is that in our area (Which is obviously different from Rivers) when we switched from two pass to zero-till, we saw a huge improvement in the ermergence of our canola crops. I can't say that we saw this advantage with all crops, but for sure with Canola. And I can't give the credit to conserved moisture either. It may have been a case of seed to soil contact, fertilizer placement in relation to the seed, or many other factors. Take it for whats it worth, but I think you'll be happy with the spring applied zero-till method.
