Doesn't really matter, unless records were kept and the farm was inspected it's still supposed to be 3 years to certification. At least around here, they won't certify native prairie that's never had fertilizer or chemical applied. Doesn't matter what you say. You have to go through the three years of paying the inspector. You can go through the process while it's in CRP, but just the fact it's in CRP doesn't mean anything. Around here, lots of CRP is regularly sprayed for weeds.

I can understand that, otherwise you are asking him to certify something he doesn't really know. If you are going to start just taking people's word for it then we don't need the certifiers, we will function just like the "certified organic" food from China.
