I have always heard that over on your side of the river, you guys are always a week or 2 away from a drought. At least in my particular area, we can stand to be a tad short on rain, rather than a tad long on rain. Go a few miles aways to lighter soil, and they like a regular shower. Here, we are tiling rolling fields as often as level fields. It is all about soil types
