Doesn't matter if it was a tough year to judge! Monsanto said they were going to be 7 to 11 bushel better. They did not say they would be 5 bushel less or in some case's equal to a RR1. Where did they get there data sure the hell wasnt from the midwest.
No, they claimed RR2's would average *7-11%* better than RR1's within comparable maturity groups. Whether that will happen remains to be seen. 7-11 bushel better was never claimed, and looking at the FIRST tests so far, 5 bushel less isn't happening either. Time will tell, but in the meantime it is entertaining to see the different colors of Koolaid on various lips... |
