To answer your question no it should not do any of those things. All gears should hold back and also engage when the clutch pedal is released. As posted above you have an oil pressure leak probably in the power shift clucth pack assembly. Best to have it looked at before more damage gets done. good luck and may the rest of your fall go trouble free
