Subject: Is a JD4440 w/PS supposed to coast sometimes like it is in neutral?

North Central Alabama

I was using my 4440 which has a power shift trans. yesterday and at one point it coasted down a hill like it was in neutral.Is this normal?Sometimes it does not want to move when in gear when you left out on clutch.
