| Dad has given me the opportunity to plant cereal rye after we combine soybeans. I would be feeding it to heifers/dry cows. If I made it as high moisture forage I would make baleage, but would really prefer to make dry hay as it would not be very handy handling baleage.
Just wondering what you guys' experience has been growing/feeding cereal rye?
Don't want to pass up a good opportunity...It may lead to more in the future!
