Monticello IL | Sorry I didn't make myself clear. Corn might not be insurable following wheat that gets headed out. That is a government rule.....why I don't know. Best corn my uncle grows is usually following a clover crop that spring. Corn is not considered a crop that can follow another crop. At an insurance meeting in Indy this year they were talking about a guys claim being denied because the adjuster found wheat head stuble. This wasn't one of my people but a story I heard. | |
