Extreme Northwest MO | I have used Digifarm for around 4 years now. We have a mixed fleet so I wanted a system I could use on our Deere, Case IH, and Ag Leader systems. I have two beacons and two subscriptions and the Ag Leader Incommand has Ntrip built in so I just log into my Digifarm on that. Obviously I can't use more than 2 at a time, but that generally isn't a problem. I live and farm in an area that typically has really good cell service, so I have never had connectivity issues or the need for a modem. I have an Ipad with data that I runs the Digifarm App. My dad runs it on his Iphone. Our subscription cost is $900/ sub so I pay $1800 per year. Our Deere dealer used to charge $1500 to use their RTK network. They are ending the service to their RTK towers and are just going to run with the SF-RTK which is still $1500/year. It would be worth reaching out to your Digifarm rep to see what he/she can do to get you in. Many times they have deals to get you started or switched over. With both of my beacons, I just had to show that I paid for my receiver to be unlocked to RTK, and they gave me a year subscription for free both times. Makes it a little easier to get into RTK.
I am signed up to be able to use the Missouri CORS network this year. I am going to try it on my Ag Leader system ( Sprayer) to see how it goes. If it works well, I'll probably consider cutting back to one Digifarm subscription. There is a gentleman on here that sells a Modem that'll will attach to a John Deere 7000 or 7500 receiver and allow it to run on CORS networks. I haven't reached out to learn more, but it is on my radar.
