NE Ark. | Looking for the lowest cost option (used is fine) to survey a field and precision level by controling a scraper blade and auto-ejector. It's a one-time project that I will do over time and then sell the equipment. I don't need auto-steering. I don't need the ability to design anything in-cab.
I see that the Arkansas DOT has a free RTK (CORS) network. There is a station 16 miles from my land and another 40 miles away. The stations output RTCM and CMR over the internet. Does this mean I don't need an RTK base station?
I am thinking that I need:
- display with software
- GPS antenna receiver
- controller for blade
- controller for auto-ejector
- something to connect the display to the internet via a cell phone?
The design software I plan to use can export AGPS and Trimble AgGPS files. Does that limit me to AGPS and Trimble or are those formats also used by third-party systems?
Thanks, Andy
