Subject: RE: Adding central vac to existing house

SE Virginia
We put in central vac when we built the house in 1993. I thought it worked fine, but evidently the hose was too heavy to drag around.

Soon bought a $1500 Kirby vacuum cleaner because that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I thought it worked fine, but evidently it was too heavy to carry around.

Have had several plug in and battery powered vacuum cleaners since then.

Recently took the $1500 Kirby (that still worked fine) and several of the plug in and battery powered to the dump.

Central system is still in place and still works but is never used.

Save you $ Buy her a cheap battery/rechargeable one and keep buying them as long as she will run it.

When she quits running them, you are on your own.
