I am looking at purchasing a Greenstar set up for my combine and to use in my tractor. I am just new using precision equipment and want to keep the cost down. The system my local John Deere dealership is recommending for me is a Starfire 300 receiver, Greenstar Original, and the harness to hook this system up to a 9500 and a 4440. The system will be used for yield mapping, guidance for dry fertilizer and chemical application, and variety mapping when planting. Will this setup be a good option for what I am doing?
