Subject: RE: Northern cattle to Oklahoma

I would be very skeptical, I have come to the conclusion while winter is hard on cows , the heat and humidity of summer and the flies and gnats, ticks it brings are no picnic either. I moved 75 miles, changed from dairy to beef 20 years ago, probably about the same age as yourself at that time. It takes about 10 years to finally get things rolling close to the way you think they should, as others have said look at what you are doing where you are and where you are spending money and look at your options. The one thing no one has asked or you have not given us for information is: Are you married? Do you have kids? Do you have family in the area or more importantly does your wife have family you would be moving away from, remember "Happy wife, happy life"
