Northern cattle don’t do very good where I’m at. Abilene, tx area. Northern Oklahoma maybe different though. Around here once you get about 60 miles east of me it’s gets a lot different. When the oak trees start growing and it rains more predictably.

I’ve seen some really fancy South Dakota cows show up here looking like money and in a few months of summer they look like the cheap skinny cows you get out of east Texas in a drought.
