not an avid follower of market talk but just a quick look at page 1 and the posts about the price of land seem to have been made by posters suggesting that land has to go down. So not sure where you get the idea of the premise of your post.
as an edit. the posters arguing that farmland prices will continue to rise have a long history to back up their position.
