If You can learn the technicals and work them with the fundamentals,
Then youcan come up with a good marketing program.
IMHO.
You say what good are the charts ---
Well some traders make a good living trading the charts.
Others do same with fundamentals.
Personally, I think the charts are more dependable.
Things change, I agree.
Sometimes the chart/ mkt action reflect the coming change.
Do whatever works best for you.
Learn to use both can be productive.
