Wife has it.   Stress seems to cause flares.  Certain foods seem to go through her worse than others I can’t think of anything except lamb she can’t eat.  My advice is find the best gastro doctor he can regardless of distance.  She had a resection of her colon.  Hers is basically in remission. It’s manageable
