For me that 13 to 18 year old time would've been 1986 to 1991. Dad milked cows and sold out in '89. Definitely not the most stress free time for my parents, but they somehow managed to hold onto the farm and all the ground and made it possible for me to take it over. Now we're remodeling the old farmhouse for my son to move in to.
